How it all started

Karen Lynn Bailey

With a passion for helping others succeed and sharing in the vision of each small business owner and entrepreneur, Karen Lynn has a heart for partnering in ways that grow success.  She has a knack for tackling the complicated and technical issues and translating them into regular language, that builds trust.  More interested in capitalizing on each other's strengths, she has the ability to meet you where you are and build from there. It doesn't matter if you have been on social media since it began, or just getting started.  Doesn't matter if you have been in business forever or just getting started. She will meet you right where you are.  


I have been taught by "professionals" and had teachers that were more interested in showing me and telling me how much they knew, than actually reaching me or helping me understand the content in ways that actually changed my life and increased my knowledge. Leaving me with a feeling that there had to be a better way.  


I believe God called me to take the complicated and simplify it for others, but more importantly, to make it a priority to connect with people, first.   He asks me to meet people right where they are and help them solve a problem.  He gave me a gift for market research, graphic design, studying metrics, and learning how your customers think and feel about interactions with you and your business.  


"I actually used to read entire manuals that came with the software we used to buy. I know some of you will remember what I am talking about. (Shout out to Gen X !) I wanted to learn how it worked and why it worked, and how I could get it to work for me.  And for some reason reading the technical manual actually made sense to me. I know now that it's a God-given gift.  The other piece of that gift is/was the ability to take that complicated manual material and use it to teach others how to use the software. Because I saw and heard and felt a need that others wanted to learn how to work smarter too. But the teaching had to be in ways made sense to each individual and allowed them to connect the dots and apply the material in ways that helped them be more efficient and effective at their job.  It had to be personal and practical, for them.


So, fast forward, to Marketing.  I got into marketing because (I believe) God gave me the ability to break down complex information into short simple, ideas. He gave me the ability to tell stories through pictures and gave me a passion for helping others fulfill a need and succeed.  I truly believe we are not called to be good at everything or to do everything in business. But, instead, be good at partnering wisely with others that have gifts and talents we need.  A case-in-point, God commissioned Noah to build the ark, but he never expected him to do it my himself.  He sent all the people and resources Noah needed to get the job done, and together they accomplished something far and away more significant than could have ever occurred with just one man.


Relationships are the cornerstone.


Owner/Operator Karen Lynn Bailey is a Faith-First Marketing Strategist with a passion for Texas, cattle, ranch life, and supporting entrepreneurs in ways that encourage, inspire, and elevate branding, marketing results, Return On Investment (ROI), and increasing the bottom line.


Originally from Minnesota, Karen Lynn has actively pursued marketing since 1997, initiating her digital marketing strategies career as a software instructor for Minnesota State Colleges & Universities, where she taught Microsoft Office for over 15 years. During that time, along with simultaneous marketing roles, she developed a passion for software integration that helped others work smarter, adopt continuous improvement strategies, and integrate applications to increase efficiency and productivity.


Accepting a position as Marketing Director for Hennepin Technical College’s Customized Training Division in Minneapolis, Minnesota, which further fueled and solidified her marketing fire by securing multiple Regional and one National award from National Council of Marketing and Public Relations Professionals (NCMPR). She has been an Ambassador with multiple Chambers of Commerce along the way and held many marketing positions with professional service organizations. A few highlights from her journey include Marketing Coordinator for Sales & Marketing Professionals of Minnesota; a Regional and National Award Recipient for the National Council of Marketing & Public Relations Professionals (NCMPR); Marketing Director for 3-Feathers Horsemanship of Red Wing, Minnesota; and Marketing Director for Texas Women in Business of Austin, Texas.


With comprehensive experience in coordinating tradeshow events, public relations, special promotions, and promotional items, as well as web design and management, branding, digital and print advertising, signage, media releases, copywriting, email marketing, graphic design, photography, media relations, search engine optimization (SEO), strategizing and goal setting, budget management, metrics analysis and reporting, market research, surveys, initiative evaluation, community engagement, social media management, campaign development, project management, and evaluating return on investment (ROI), Karen Lynn is dedicated to providing exceptional marketing strategies.
